It has been amazingly sunny and hot from a last few days, and this weather really makes me crave for ice-cold refreshing smoothies, fresh fruits and cold salads like the one I made myself today. Watermelon always comes to my mind when thinking of hot days like this one, so I couldn’t miss this fruit when preparing a cold glass of detox water- full of goodness. Cold watermelon/ Pineapple, lemon and mint are perfectly together for a sweet/sour flavor when looking for a little something to cleanse your body. Watermelon is a great fruit to help you hydrate since it’s mostly made of water, and a good source of vitamin C which provides protection against immune system deficiencies. Lemons and mint are just awesome for a whole bunch of health issues because of its antibacterial, antiviral and immune boosting powers. So here you are, a very simple breakfast with Pineapple mint detox water, a bowl of Watermelon and some dates that tastes delicious and full of great things for your health and well being.
This is my favorite salad at the moment. I’m trying my best to vary as much as I can, but it’s just so good! The juicy pineapples blend perfect with the sprouted lentils, creamy yoghurt dressing, prunes and walnuts, Juicy Tomatoes and to create the perfect healthy meal. The ingredients together create a beautiful cabbage bowls full of natural bright colors. Eating like this just tastes and feels great. The protein and fiber in the sprouted lentils/beans makes it wonderfully filling, while the combination of the rest of the ingredients is full of healthy fats and provides countless vitamins and minerals which helps your skin, mind and body to stay beautiful and healthy.
It is breakfast time again! Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, I just love it! I find it really important to start my day with something nourishing filling and healthy, which keeps me energized through the morning until lunch. That’s why I love to have breakfast bowls filled with different flavors and textures and bursting with goodness! And this day it was Green tea with cucumbers and Apple Cider Vinegar, Coconut water and some fresh plums.
Green Tea with mint and Lemon and a Bowl of Papaya, the perfect morning superfood remedy! It’s so wonderfully sweet with the best texture ever. Papaya is one of the highest anti-oxidants rich foods ever tasted which protects you from free radicals that can lead you to chronic diseases. Its great for those days when you’re hungry but don’t feel like to cook anything.
I am crazy about vegetable stews and ever since I discovered this easy to make delicious bowl of goodness, I have been making it so many times! The rich and creamy texture feels like heaven in my mouth. It is also a super easy way to eat a nutritious filling dinner when you are on the run all day long and are tired to take out much time to cook a complete meal but at the same time want to eat healthy. Luckily for me, this recipe works every time and is loved even by the little one in the family. Just a spoonful of butter /oil in the pan and put a Star anise and some peppercorns to get the burst of flavor in the butter. Sauté your favorite veggies be it capsicum, caggage, carrots , beans , corn , onions etc. Put some salt and pepper and add enough water to make it a soup... cover it up and simmer for a few minutes. Now add 1/4th cup of milk and garnish with coriander if you like.
Amazing super food right?! So a bowl of this creamy and rich goodness will fuel you up perfectly for any day!
